会议简介：The Twenty-Ninth Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium – An Additive Manufacturing Conference organized by the Mechanical Engineering Department/Lab of Freeform Fabrication under the aegis of the Advanced Manufacturing and Design Center at The University of Texas at Austin, will be held August 13-15, 2018 at the Hilton Austin Hotel (500 East 4th St.) in Austin, Texas. The meeting will run three full days from 8 AM to ~5:30 PM. The theme of the meeting including Applications, Lattice and Cellular, Materials, Physical Modeling, Process Development, Topology Optimization, AM Infrastructive and Education, Broader Impact, Residual Stress, Hybrid AM, Data Analytics in AM, Binder Jet Additive Manufacturing: materials, modeling, and experiments. This three-day conference is a high-level topical research meeting providing the opportunity for AM researchers from around the world to disseminate their research results and to interact with other researchers. At last year’s meeting, there were over 650 researchers from 20 countries who gave over 450 presentations.
