主讲人 简介：

Dr. Sameoto is presently an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. His research field of expertise is in MEMS, micro-fabrication and microfluidics, with a strong focus on the use of industrial polymers and plastics for micro-fabricated products. His current focus is on developing large scale (several square feet at a time) areas of micro-structured materials, including biomimetic dry adhesives, super-hydrophobic surfaces and micro-needle arrays. His long-term research interests involve developing process technologies to integrate novel materials like electro-active polymers and nano-composites for flexible electronics, microfluidics and MEMS.
