Two-years studying experience at Duke University as a visiting Ph.D. student

Abstract: The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is an institution aiming to improve the training of creative and distinguished postgraduates and enhance the development of China’s higher education. In the past two years, Mr. Liang Shen was sponsored by CSC to perform his research work as a visiting Ph.D. student supervised by Prof. Tony Jun Huang at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Duke University in Durham, USA. His research interests mainly focus on cell phenotyping and inhomogeneous fluid manipulation. In the presentation, Mr. Liang Shen will share his research and studying experience during the past two years in the USA. Besides, the living and cultural experience will also be presented.
